The totes are highly resistant to moisture, light rain, and accidental spills.


While they are not designed for long-term outdoor storage, they provide far better protection against moisture than traditional cardboard boxes.

Our moving totes are durable, reusable plastic bins that replace traditional cardboard boxes. They're stronger, cleaner, and easier to stack than cardboard boxes.


We deliver them directly to your home, you pack and move at your own pace, and we pick them up when you're finished.

We currently deliver and pick up our moving totes throughout Vigo County and surrounding communities. Simply choose a delivery date, pack at your own pace, and we'll handle dropping off and retrieving the containers when you're done moving.


If you're outside our standard service area, contact us and we'll be happy to discuss available options. 

Most customers spend money on cardboard boxes, tape, markers, and packing supplies, then spend additional time assembling boxes and disposing of them afterward.


Moving totes arrive ready to use, stack securely, and are picked up when you're finished. Many customers find the convenience alone is worth it, while others appreciate the time and money savings and reduced stress during the moving process.

Our heavy duty moving dollies are available as an optional add-on to your tote delivery package.


While our totes are designed to be easy to carry, a moving dolly can make moving significantly easier by allowing you to transport multiple totes in a single trip. We highly recommend adding one for larger moves. 

The number of totes depends on the size of your home and how much you own. As a general guide:


  • 1 Bedroom: 20–30 totes
  • 2 Bedroom: 30–40 totes
  • 3 Bedroom: 45–55 totes
  • Larger Home: 60–80 totes 


If you're unsure, we can help you determine the right package for your move.

Normal wear and tear is expected. However, customers are responsible for totes that are lost, stolen, or severely damaged beyond normal use. Any replacement fees will be clearly outlined before your rental begins.

Not at all. Many customers use our totes while hiring a professional moving company. The totes work well whether you're moving yourself, using friends and family, or hiring professional movers. 


Sycamore Moving Totes does not offer moving/shipping services; rather, we are here to provide a better alternative to the traditional cardboard box. However, we will drop off and pick up rented totes before and after use.

Moving totes eliminate many of the frustrations that come with cardboard boxes. 


  • There's no tape, no assembly, no collapsed boxes, and no piles of cardboard to dispose of after your move. 
  • They stack securely, protect your belongings better, and can save hours during packing and unpacking.

Not required. Simply make sure that each of your rented totes are completely empty and leave them ready for pickup. We will inspect and sanitize each tote thoroughly before it goes out to the next customer. 

Moving doesn't always go according to plan. If you need additional time, simply contact us before your scheduled pickup date and we'll work with you to extend your rental.


  • Our moving tote rental plans include 7 days for your rental; extra days can be added by request.
